I'm based in Gastonia. Anywhere within 25 miles is included in the rental. Past that, it's $1.50 per mile each way — a Matthews delivery adds about $45 total, and I'll tell you the number on the phone before you commit to anything.
Next business day delivery is the standard. Same-day when the kit is free and I can get there before dark.

Why a Gastonia company and not a Charlotte one
Most equipment rental on the Charlotte side is set up for contractors with an account and a truck. If you're a landlord in Belmont with a wet unit or a homeowner in Dallas with a water heater that let go, you want someone who can be there tomorrow morning, carry the equipment in, and show you how it works. That's what this is.
I also don't mind the SC side. Fort Mill, Rock Hill, Lake Wylie and Tega Cay are a straight shot down 274 and 49, and nobody over there is renting LGR dehumidifiers to the public either.
Outside the list? Call. If it's a reasonable drive and the kit is free, the answer is usually yes with a mileage add-on.
In the area? Call before the floor gets worse.
